After many years in a demanding career in Education Management, I sought a change that would offer a healthier work-life balance and align with my passion for helping others. I transitioned from the high-pressure environment of education management and founded The Leadership and Lifestyle Studio, in the dynamic field of Personal Development and Leadership. This shift allows me to share my knowledge and experience and focus on empowering individuals to embrace their unique strengths and lead with confidence.

My journey has been deeply fulfilling, as I help others unlock their potential and achieve their goals while enjoying the flexibility and fulfillment I had long desired.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE

After dedicating many years to a successful career in Education Management, the long hours, high levels of responsibility, and lack of flexibility began to take their toll. As a mother of three sons and part of a wide social group, I found it increasingly difficult to balance my professional demands with my personal life. I needed a change that would allow me to pursue my passion for helping others while maintaining a healthier work-life balance.

WHAT PROMPTED ME TO LOOK FOR AN ONLINE BUSINESS?

I love to travel, so I wanted to build a business where I could operate from anywhere in the world, and with the flexibility to work the hours that suited me, so an online business seemed the obvious solution.

I have always enjoyed empowering colleagues in the workplace to develop their skills and confidence with some great results. It has been a passion for me so it was clear that would be where I would specialize.

However, I was a little anxious about developing a new business and being successful in an online environment. I understood I would need to develop some new skills in marketing and managing the nuances of the online world quickly, but where to start?

There are many options for creating an online business available these days, although I quickly discovered not all are equal.

THE NEXT STEP

Truthfully, it was serendipity!

I've been an avid reader of Personal Development since I was 30 years old. I believe we are born with much more potential than we access, and while the idea of manifestation was a little too abstract for my literal mind initially, I had experienced some success in setting goals and achieving them through a mixture of hard work and some kind of magic that felt a lot like the 'Law of Attraction' at work.

I had been researching my next step while scrolling social media when an ad grabbed my attention. It was everything I was looking for, so I made some enquiries and very quickly found myself immersed in a business with loads of support and a simple business system to implement. I was up and running within a few weeks. It would have taken me months to build the systems myself. That was over a year ago now and I've learnt so much!
